Gluckstadt Police Department – Full-Time Position

The Gluckstadt Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of School Resource Officer (SRO).

Requirements:

• Must be a certified law enforcement officer in the State of Mississippi

• Must successfully pass a polygraph examination, drug screen, and psychological evaluation

• Must be able to pass state certified firearms qualifications before being hired.

We are seeking a motivated and professional officer who is committed to the safety and well-being of students, staff, and faculty within our school system. The ideal candidate will be proactive, community-oriented, and able to build positive relationships with young people. Previous experience as an SRO is preferred.
