Charles Lee “Chip” Williams III was born and raised in Natchez, MS. He attended Natchez High School, where he played baseball, participated in student government, and attended Mississippi American Legion Boys State. He was a member of the Mayor’s Youth Council where he met his wife, Suzanne Hicks.

After high school, he attended Copiah Lincoln Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi. During his time at Southern Miss, Chip was active in College Republicans and was a founding member of the charter chapter of USM’s Ducks Unlimited. He graduated in 2001 with a B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management.

Upon graduation, Chip began his career in the food sales industry as a salesman at J.E. Hicks Distributing Company in Natchez. Suzanne and Chip married in 2002 and, after residing in Natchez for 6 years, they relocated to Gluckstadt in 2008. Chip worked for Innovative Foods/Acosta Food Service as a food service broker before later joining Merchants Foods as an area manager and transitioned to Merchants/Performance Food Service of Jackson, where he currently works as a District Sales Manager.

The Williams are active members of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gluckstadt where Chip is a member of the Knights of Columbus. They have three children who attend Germantown schools.
