Alderman John Taylor

John Taylor grew up in the New Orleans area and graduated from Jesuit High School. He moved to Madison County in 1979. John earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Louisiana State University. In 1985, he joined his family's business, Taylor Industries, which moved to Gluckstadt in 1984. Taylor Industries manufactures specialty cleaning products.

John is married to his wife, Lucy, and they have two children. Alyssa is currently a counselor at Raymond Elementary, and their son, John, lives in Horn lake. He works for Paragon Security and is in the 306th Military Police out of Bluefield, West Virginia.
