Alderman Jayce E. Powell

Jayce grew up in Tensas Parish, Louisiana and attended Huntington School in Ferriday. In 1986, his parents, Charles and JoAnn Powell, moved the family to Clinton, MS, where Jayce graduated from Clinton High School in 1990.

Jayce is married to Stephanie Brown Powell, who is a 5th grade teacher at Highland Elementary in Ridgeland, MS. They have two children: Marcie McDaniel and Clayton McDaniel. The family moved to the Ridgefield subdivision around 2009. They attend Broadmoore Baptist Church in Madison. Jayce serves on the Madison County Republican Executive Committee.

Jayce is co-owner of Bicycle Revolution, The FeedZone Cafe, and Lucky Town Skate Shop in Gluckstadt. When he isn't at the shop or helping with the city, he loves to spend time with his family, listening to punk rock and outlaw country music, riding road and mountain bikes, skateboarding, riding motorcycles, and spending time with their horses.
